In commemoration of International Women's Day, Model Court was invited to attend a Women's Market in Eastwood City that showcased products from women-led social enterprises from all over the Philippines, and featured talks on women empowerment, leadership, and entrepreneurship from celebrity speakers.
The event gave the Court's delegation an opportunity to observe women's empowerment at work and share stories with rural women leaders on campaigning for and realizing the true essence of women's economic empowerment.
Listening to celebrity speakers talk on various topics of women's empowerment also provided the Court's delegation with possible platforms where they can evolve and launch the Court's campaign and work on such for the benefit of the rural women of Nueva Ecija.
At the end of the day, Model Court forged a partnership with the Pambansang Kalipunan ng mga Kababaihan sa Kanayunan (PKKK) and the KALIKASAN-NE Women's Forum to support social enterprise development for women in Nueva Ecija and campaign for the full implementation of the Magna Carta for Women.
